Angled Flanges. Hollow 20mm axle CNC machined from 7075 Aluminium. The axle sits inside the dropouts and is held in place by standard off-the-shelf 3/8 bolts. This system results in an axle that is stronger than a normal 14mm solid axle yet weighs less. Threads are steel helicoiled to eliminate any chance of stripping.
